The position
As a Tender engineer, you will be managing tenders, from receiving an initial request for information to the review of contracts related to a Request for Proposal up-to the actual execution of the project resulting from the same. It requires your technical know-how to mix with commercial awareness for this dynamic role. As a Tender Engineer you will
- Collaborate closely with the technical and commercial teams to review tender packages and prepare project proposals.
- Align tender requirements with vessel capabilities, company standards, and documents, while validating technical solutions from an operational perspective.
- Play a key role in preparing and submitting tender proposals to our clients.
- Analyse tender documentation received from potential clients, develop work methods, prepare cost calculations, and conduct risk assessments.
- Consult with subcontractors, partners, and supporting departments to ensure comprehensive tender proposals.
Job requirements
- h3 interest in contributing to a new business within an experienced team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
- 0-5 years of operational experience in offshore or civil projects, with experience in Subsea Rock Installation or dredging projects preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-starting abilities with a customer-focused and representative attitude.
- Proficient in English with both goal and result-oriented mindset.
